Global Volunteer Coordinator
Yayasan Habitat Kemanusiaan Indonesia (Habitat for Humanity Indonesia) is seeking person who
have motivated to guides and supports Global volunteers. Also responsible for managing and
develop volunteer programs in Habitat Indonesia projects area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in communication with Habitat for Humanity International – Asia Pacific and Habitat
for Humanity Indonesia regarding volunteers interested in joining the Global Volunteer
Program, through email, phone, and in-person meetings. - Establish and maintain communication and coordination with sending countries to foster
strong partnerships and encourage project development and donation support for GV
activities. - Collaborate with other departments such as Community Organizing and Building
Management that receive volunteers from this program, to ensure proper and effective
volunteer placement based on field needs. - Coordinate and manage field officers and volunteers with managerial responsibilities to
ensure efficient program implementation. - Conduct volunteer mobilization activities, including presentations, recruitment, and
selection processes, and provide recommendations to the coordinator for final approval. - Maintain accurate data and prepare reports on the number and types of volunteers involved
in the program, to support evaluation and activity reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Able to work independently as well as effectively in a team.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse target groups.
- Demonstrates leadership potential and strong teamwork capabilities.
- Possesses good negotiation skills.
- Exhibits a high level of integrity and honesty in performing duties.
- Shows creativity in carrying out responsibilities.
- Possesses experience in organizing and managing events, including handling all necessary
permits and approvals. - Experience in processing administrative documents such as visas and passports.
