CONTRUCTION SUPERVISOR (Batam)

Yayasan Habitat Kemanusiaan Indonesia is looking for motivated applicants Socializing the HFH program to target groups; empowering target group communities to alleviate poverty in their areas holistically especially those related to construction, infrastructure development; and/or handling housing according to the vision and mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise the construction process of the prototype house using a passive cooling system together with the project team and the community.
  2. Ensure that construction work is carried out in accordance with the technical design prepared by the architects and engineers.
  3. Provide technical guidance to builders, field workers, and residents involved in the construction process.
  4. Ensure the quality of work and the use of materials meet project standards.
  5. Arrange the daily work schedule and ensure the construction is completed on time.
  6. Conduct regular coordination with the architecture team and the community to resolve technical issues on site.
  7. Maintain work safety throughout the construction process.
  8. Document construction progress and report it to project management.
  9. Provide technical input for design improvements based on actual field conditions.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering / architecture major.
  2. Preferably to have a minimum of 1 year’s work experience in the construction field.
  3. Ability in using CAD program or other program software related to design/construction.
  4. Able to work effectively and independently.
  5. Ability good communication skills.
  6. Ability good leadership skills.
  7. Have capacity to develop HFH program.
  8. Able commitment to practice the principles of HFH.
  9. Have high integrity and honesty.
  10. Have knowledge in whole construction of simple house aspects.
  11. Domicile in Batam
