Every family dreams of a decent life, and it all starts with a home.

Imagine a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Indonesia, with more than 278 million inhabitants according to the data of the 2023 Central Statistics Agency Report, still has a big challenge: at least 36.8% of families in Indonesia still live in uninhabitable homes. Habitat for Humanity Indonesia invites all parties-individuals, groups, institutions, and companies-to actively and tangibly participate in supporting their programs aimed at building livable homes for low-income families.

Habitat for Humanity Indonesia supports the government’s “100-0-100” program, which aims to reduce slums and uninhabitable homes in Indonesia. By focusing on the vision that everyone has the right to a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort in the United States. Today, this non-profit organization has grown into a leading global organization working in more than 70 countries around the world.

Starting from the idea of realizing every dream, Habitat for Humanity Indonesia was born to serve every low-income family.

In Indonesia, since 1997, Habitat for Humanity has supported more than 204,000 families and built more than 38,945 homes. Through financial support, volunteering, or by voicing support for affordable housing, everyone can help these families achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better life.

Let us join hands to make this dream a reality. With every brick we lay, every roof we spread, every stream of clean water we deliver and every support we provide, we are not just building homes; we are empowering families for a brighter, more sustainable future. Through shelter, which we call home.
