What We Do
Since 1997, Habitat for Humanity Indonesia has been working to provide decent housing for families with the lowest income levels, female heads of households, and family members with disabilities through three main pillars of initiative:
Build
Improving access to adequate and climate-resilient housing, basic services, and construction capacity for low-income households in rural, peri-urban, and urban areas.
Transform
Strengthening policies, governance systems, and financing mechanisms to ensure adequate, equitable, and climate-resilient housing as well as tenure security for low-income families.
Inspire
Encouraging active participation of community members, including youth and volunteers, in promoting safe, inclusive, and climate-resilient housing, while fostering deeper engagement around housing issues.
