STRATEGIC ALLIANCE SENIOR MANAGER
Habitat Indonesia is seeking the expertise of a The Strategic Alliance Senior Manager will work 50% under the direct supervision of the National Director of HFH Indonesia and 50% under Associate Director of Operations of HFH International performing the role of Senior Specialist for Regional DR3. This position is responsible for applying sound project and program management techniques and excellent written and verbal communication skill for a variety of national and international disaster risk reduction and response project across Indonesia and Asia Pacific Region. This position will manage scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for various disaster risk reduction, nationwide stakeholder relationship and response project and will require significant field team and client/donor/government interaction including strengthening the corporation and collaboration of large middle-income countries in the AP Region. As part of the senior management team of HFH Indonesia, the Director reviews and decides issues that gave significant impact on the organization, participates and contributes toward the achievement of annual and long-range strategic planning objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build capacity of HFHI and HFH affiliated entities to design and implement disaster risk reduction and response project/programs through remote and direct supporting during deployments.
- Develop and maintain HFH Indonesia capacity in DR3 Program.
- Stakeholder Management and Advocacy.
- FOI resource Development and Disaster Response Reserve Fund and Fundraising.
- Program Quality Monitoring.
- As a member of National Procurement Committee and Safeguarding Committee.
- As a member of HFI Supervisory Board.
- Other duties consistent with the overall focus of HFHI as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in development related studies with relevant training or graduate studies in a field related to development.
- Minimum 10 years of direct experience in disaster risk reduction and response situations.
- Knowledge of Core Humanitarian Standard, SPHERE, Red Cross code of conduct and other humanitarian standards.
- Strong leadership and project managerial skills.
- Strong experience in building relationships with external stakeholders such as Government representatives including National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Ministry of Social Affair and other national NGOs.
- Experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating interdisciplinary emergency response.
- An understanding of institutional donor requirements and procedures preferred.
- Previous emergency response experience in Asia pacific region preferred.
- Experience in knowledge management.
- Domicile in Jakarta
