Habitat Indonesia is seeking the expertise of a Finance Officer – Yogya to secure fundings
that will support the sustainability of Habitat for Humanity Indonesia’s projects.

Key Responsibility:

Handling and reviewing all payment applications from project staff.

  1. Create payment list and reviewing payment application proposed by project staff to
    National Officer via SharePoint.
  2. Create journal for reception transactions and encode all reception transactions
    according to company standards.
  3. Create journal for payment transactions and encoding all payment transactions
    according to company standards.
  4. Reviewing Habitat employee credit card payment bills and record journal in SUN
    System.
  5. Reconciliation and GIK & Merchandise Inventory Count in project office.
  6. Reconciliation balance sheet account.
  7. Updating an organization’s “Recurring Crew” every 5th and 20th of the month.
  8. Presenting organization financial reports in an accurate and accountable manner.
  9. Supporting audit preparation includes providing all required documents and building
    good relationships with external and internal auditors.
  10. Ensuring all payment documents and reception documents are completely documented
    in SharePoint.
  11. Ensuring all payment documents are complete and neatly arranged.
  12. Apply tax knowledge to finance operations, knowing specific tax regulations applied to
    current transactions.
  13. Support Project Team by managing and monitoring data and information needed and
    administration tasks.
  14. Support Finance Department and do other tasks requested by direct supervisor and site
    supervisor.
  15. Other duties consistent with the overall focus of HFHI as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  2. Have a minimum of 1 year’s work experience in the accountancy or finance department.
  3. Able to operate general Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Ms. Excel
  4. Adhere to the principle of accountability.
  5. Have experience in developing financial reports.
  6. Have experience operating SUN System software.
  7. Able to communicate in English.
  8. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write and speak clearly and
    effectively, and to listen, and an unusual capacity to engage, inspire and persuade.
  9. Domicile in Yogyakarta.
