Twenty One volunteers from GE Lightings and Twelve volunteers from Singapore ended the year of 2006 together with the earthquake victim communities of Kelegen, Yogyakarta. Mrs. Pramudihardjo, a home partner from Kelegen Village, expressed her feeling on the activity; “I’m just an old lady, and I’m really grateful for the provision of the house. By having these people to help, I hope the house reconstruction process can be finished as soon as possible.”

From previous efforts in Kelegen Village, thirty houses have been completed by Habitat for Humanity Indonesia. At the moment, the project has been extended into additional twelve houses at the stage of building column.
